Surgical Procedures for Penile Enlargement

PREPARATION :

1. Buried Penis Correction
  • Condition : This surgery addresses a penis that appears partially or completely hidden beneath the pubic mound due to excess pubic fat or laxity of the suspensory ligament (tissue connecting the penis to the pubic bone).
  • Procedure : Liposuction/debulking can remove excess pubic fat. In some cases, tightening the suspensory ligament might be necessary. This is a relatively simple procedure with minimal risks. Significant increase in length may result in such candidates.
2. Penile Lengthening Procedures
  • Techniques : These procedures involve severing the suspensory ligament, which allows the penis to hang lower when flaccid. However, erections may be lower than the original position and the exact gain in length can not be predicted.
3. Penile Girth Enhancement:
  • Fat Grafting : This involves injecting fat cells harvested from another area of the body around the penis shaft. There is some amount of fat rersorbtion and ideally a few session of fat transfer are needed to get permanent results.
  • Fillers : This involves injecting fillers around the penis shaft. Fillers are usually resorbed and this is a temporary procedure.
  • Dermal graft : tissue grafts harvested from the patients own body can be inserted around the penis shaft to increase girth. Alternatively, acellular dermal matrices can also be used for this purpose.
Followup :

  • Rest and Relaxation : Prioritize rest in the first few days following surgery to allow your body to heal. Avoid strenuous activities or lifting heavy objects.
